AUTO ACCIDENTS

Lack of pain does not equal lack of injury. Obtain a proper medical evaluation.

Most people assume they are uninjured if no immediate pain is experienced after an accident. Unfortunately, a number of injuries can develop without noticeable symptoms. This is especially true with whiplash injuries.

Research shows it is actually quite common for rear-end collisions to cause significant injury even at speeds of ~10mph. A whopping 50% of car accident victims still have pain and symptoms two years post-collision.

Drs. Schneider and Kalantarov have additional post graduate training in spotting and treating mild to major whiplash related injuries. Dr. Grant trained under Dr. Art Croft of the Spine Research Institute of San Diego. Dr. Croft pioneered much of the early research on biomechanics, accident reconstruction, and treatment protocols for whiplash related injuries.

Due to the nature of involved forces, it is common to see misalignments, loss of cervical (neck curve), disc herniations, muscle spasms and pinched nerves. These conditions fall squarely in the scope of chiropractic care.

If you have been involved in a collision, no matter the severity, avoid future pain and frustration by obtaining a proper medical evaluation from a provider who is well versed in traumatology.
